Ella Messih's Debut EP

Landon Akins’ production on Samantha Hart’s Lies I Tell Myself brings out the quiet romance of the track, wrapping her vocals in warm, dreamy textures. The sound feels intimate and emotional, capturing the bittersweet beauty of love, longing, and the stories we tell ourselves to hold on.

Disney Wish Collaboration

Landon Akins contributed to Disney Wish as a session guitarist and creative collaborator alongside Dave Metzger in Tumalo, Oregon. Akins played on key tracks like “This Is the Thanks I Get," "Welcome to Rosas," and "Mirror, Mirror/Rosas Celebration," bringing distinct energy to the music and complementing Metzger’s intricate arrangements. The project fostered a lasting mentorship with Metzger, who became an influential guide in Akins' artistic growth. Gunsmoke

Gunsmoke, a single by Landon Akins, draws unsettling parallels between romanticized adolescent sexuality and the glorified violence once used to entice young men to enlist after World War I. This track critiques how both have been idealized and commodified in culture, echoing Warhol’s provocative, mass-produced imagery. With its gritty, indie rock sound, Gunsmoke pulses with a raw intensity, blending distorted guitars and driving rhythms to create urgency and discomfort. Its powerful instrumentation and biting lyrics confront the darker side of cultural manipulation, capturing the tension between youthful desires and the disturbing realities lurking beneath societal fantasies.

@peace, a collaborative project by Landon Akins featuring Aosmos, showcases Akins’ growth as a co-producer through atmospheric soundscapes and intricate production. He helped shape the project’s sonic direction, weaving a chilled yet immersive vibe that combines electronic elements with organic textures.
